Filling My Kindle: Take Two

If I keep sharing posts like this you guys are going to think that I have no self control.  Wait a minute.  Who am I kidding??  You all should know by now that I have no self control when it comes to books :)  But on a more serious note it would probably help if I was actually reading some of these books that I can't seem to stop buying.  I think I need to join an e-book challenge just to get some of the lovely books that I have on my reader actually read.  LOL!  Who does this besides me??  I mean really....I just can't resist those stupid AMAZING daily deals on Amazon.  And then I get emails from publishers telling me about more sales and I just have to peek.  Because as we already established I lack the ability to tell myself no.  It is entirely too easy for me.  So my new goal for the year is to work on reading some of these amazing books that I can't stop buying.  Since it is still January I've decided that means it is okay to add more goals for the year as I go.  Here are a few of the books that I picked up for my reader lately:

I picked up On The Island as soon as I saw it was on sale thanks to Naida's review!  And The Monsters of Templeton has been on my TBR list for such a long time that I couldn't resist.  And the Stephen King one doesn't even need an explanation.  Don't these all look amazing???  Enough talking...I need to get to reading!  What have you picked up recently for you reader?

  1. I need to fill up my Nook again with library books! I wildly overestimated how many books I was going to have time to read on my Christmas vacation, and now they have all expired. And I can't remember what all they were so I really need to re-up.

  3. I just got The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson from the library, and I always get the free friday nook book, which this week was a romance novel- Just One of the Guys by Kristin Higgans. I've been reading a Harlequin on the Nook the last couple of days- Wild for the Sheriff by Kathleen O'Brien.

  7. Yay! Enjoy On The Island :) I loved that one. Those all look good. And I know what you mean, I check barnes and nobles and I can't resist the Nook book deals. Especially tempting is their 'nook book daily find'. All of the books you got look great. Lol I actually bought The Stand by King for my Nook last week. Like I really need another thousand page book to read. I swear, its temporary insanity :) Ebooks are wayyyy to easy to buy, especially when they are on sale. I told my hubby my Ereader is magical...lol. He just thinks I'm nuts.

  8. Most of what I've read recently on my reader have been ebook versions of advance copies. I liked On the Island far more than I had anticipated I would. I hope you enjoy it!

  9. I've been really curious about Under the Dome but think after I read The Shining (you in??) I need to take a little break from King. I'm not familiar with the rest of them, though.
