Impatiently Waiting (2016 Releases That I NEED!)

I've been writing this type of post for three years now at the beginning of the new year.  There is just something about the new year and ALL of the books that will be releasing soon that gets me pumped up!  2016 is already starting off with a bang as Mira Grant has a new book being released in the Newsflesh series this year!!!!  I am SO excited that I cannot even stand it!!!  I LOVE these books!  I cannot even contain my excitement here.  Last year I didn't manage to read as many of the books on this list as I had hoped to so this year I'm going to have to change that.  There are just so many books and so little time!  Here are the books that I am already making grabby hands for:

Daisy in Chains by Sharon Bolton - A NEW books by Sharon Bolton!?!  I didn't even have to read the description before I was adding this one to my list.  I add a books of hers to my list every year- she is hands down of my favorite authors.  Want! Want! Want!

River Road by Carol Goodman - I have enjoyed EVERY book that I have read by this author so I couldn't help but be excited about her newest book.  And I actually was approved for a copy of this one (before my NetGalley ban) so you can bet I will be reading it very soon.  Can't wait!

City of the Lost by Kelley Armstrong - A new series by Armstrong?  I NEED it!!  And it is a mystery series which makes me want to read it even more!  I cannot even right now.  Sigh.  I will be reading this one ASAP!

Butterfly in the Dark by Gilly Macmillan - This author's debut novel made my top reads list of 2015 so of course I'm adding this one to my wishlist!  And it sounds so good which makes me even more excited to read it!!

Ink and Bone by Lisa Under - There are SO many thrillers that I want to read in 2016 but this cover has me seriously lusting after this book!  It looks so creepy and I just cannot wait to read it!!

Truthwitch by Susan Dennard - This books seems to be all over the blogsphere lately but for good reason if this book is as good as it sounds.  I cannot wait to find out for myself!  Plus it doesn't hurt that it has such a gorgeous cover either!!

Unhinge by Calia Read - I basically read that this one was set in a mental institution and added it to my TBR wishlist that fast!  It seems to be part of a series though so I will need to get my hands on the first book as well.  I'm excited to read them both!!

Little Boy Blue by M.J. Arlidge - Basically I have a goal to read all of the books in this series in 2016!  This will be the fifth book in this mystery series and I'm already chomping at the bit to get my hands on it!  So excited for this series!

Forevermore by Kristen Callihan - I just started reading this series in 2015 but I can't help but pine for this newest one.  I am hoping to read all of the books in this series as well in 2016.  I have big plans for my reading this year!

Bitter Bite by Jennifer Estep - I actually have a copy of this one for my kindle and I just adore the cover for it!  Yes another series that I am planning on catching up with in 2016.  (Are you sensing a trend yet? LOL!)

I could keep going and going but I'm forcing myself to stop at this point.  Rest assured that I will continue posting about other books that I am excited to read in my on the radar/wishlist posts.  There are just so many!  I can't even begin...seriously...I am pumped for 2016!  I will include really quickly a few books that would be listed above but they don't have covers quite yet:

• Rewind by Mira Grant (this is THE book that I want to read MOST in 2016)!
• The Ghost Rebellion by Pip Ballantine and Tee Morris (love this series so much!)
• Grilled For Murder by Maddie Day (cozy series that I want to continue on with)
• Nine of Stars by Laura Bickle (another series I adore)

Impatiently Waiting (2015 Releases that I NEED!)

I did a post like this last year at the beginning of the new year and really enjoyed creating it!  Although I didn't quite manage to read all of the books that I had listed, I do hope to get to the rest of them in this new year.  Along with all of these as well of course :)  I keep saying this but there is something so exciting about a new year and all of the possibilities especially in regards to all of those shiny new books that will be published.  Makes me feel very grabby- I want! I want!  Just kidding....kind of....well, maybe not.  While I wait not so patiently for all of these pretty books here are just a few of the ones that I want the most:

Little Black Lies by Sharon Bolton - Woot!  Woot!  Newest book by one of my favorite authors.  I CANNOT wait! 

Behind Closed Doors by Elizabeth Haynes - I have loved both of the books that I have read by this author so it is a given that I want this one.  It's a sequel to Under a Silent Moon which is even better! 

The Diamond Conspiracy by Pip Ballantine & Tee Morris - Squee!  OH MY GOODESS, I want this book so badly!!!  I'm thinking about rereading the first three books before this one releases just because I love the series so much.  It is pretty likely that will be exactly what I do!

Second Life by S.J. Watson - I adored this author's first book (Before I Go to Sleep) so I instantly added this book to my TBR list as soon as I heard about it.  I definitely am looking forward to this one!

The Veil by Chloe Neill - New urban fantasy series?  Count me in!  It also helps that this is an author that I've been wanting to try for some time!

The Diabolical Miss Hyde by Viola Carr - I want to read this one based off of the cover alone!  Seriously, I cannot wait to get my hands on this one.  Yay for new steampunk!

Cold Burn of Magic by Jennifer Estep - I love the sound of this new series!  I can't wait to get my hands on it and give it a try!

Daughter of Deep Silence by Carrie Ryan - This sounds like a must read which is why I can't help but want to read it!  This is another author that I have wanted to try for some time now. 

The Shadow Revolution by Clay and Susan Griffith - Another new series to begin and with a cover like that I just can't resist!

Vanishing Girls by Lauren Oliver - I swear I want to read all of this author's books yet I haven't read one.  2015 will be the year that I change this!!!

There are so many other books that I could have put on this list....I actually just had to force myself to stop looking.  Ha!  I am super pumped for all of these books and so many more!!  Books not listed here due to lack of cover yet include the next book in the Ilona Andrew's Hidden Legacy series, The Night Sister by Jennifer McMahon, Rewind by Mira Grant (although this says 2016- say it isn't so!), and so many more.

Impatiently Waiting (2014 Releases that I NEED!)

There is nothing more exciting to me than looking forward to all of the upcoming book releases for the new year.  2014 is shaping up to be a spectacular year of books for me with many of my very favorite authors releasing new books!  I AM SO EXCITED!  (And very impatient.  But so excited!)  I can't even put into words how thrilled I am!   I have entirely too many books already that I want to read but that won't stop me from pining for all of these new releases.  And I am pining!  Let me share with you all just some of the books being published in 2014 that are MUST reads for me:

A Dark and Twisted Tide by Sharon Bolton - OMG! My most favoritest (this is a word) thriller author ever AND one of my favorite series has a new book coming out.  YAY!

Bitter Spirits by Jenn Bennett - I'm dying to read this one based on that cover alone.  Seriously!

The Winter People by Jennifer McMahon - I read and loved The One I Left Behind by her this year so I cannot wait to give this one a try.  I was lucky enough to get a review copy for my ipad so I will be reading this one very soon :)

Don't Talk To Strangers by Amanda Kyle Williams - The first book in this series made my top ten reads of 2012 and the second one (which I'm currently reading) has a very good chance of doing the same for 2013.  I love this series and this author's books so of course I can't wait for the 3rd one to release!

Dawn's Early Light by Pip Ballantine & Tee Morris - You guys!  This is one of my absolute, very favorite (I love like no other) steampunk series so can I just read this RIGHT NOW???  I feel like I have been waiting for this book for so long now that I'm about to burst!  I NEED IT!

Dirty Magic by Jaye Wells - A new series by one of my favorite authors?  Yes, please!  Another book that I have been wanting to read every since I first heard about it.  I just cannot wait!  And in fact I just got approved on NetGalley for this one so you know it will be my next read.  Woohoo!

The Vanishing by Wendy Webb - I read (and adored)  The Tale of Halcyon Crane this year so of course I am looking forward to reading this new release.  Plus it has that gothic, creepy feel to the cover so it makes me want to read it even more!

Magic Breaks by Ilona Andrews - Let's ignore that I am nowhere close to being caught up with this series.  I WANT to be so therefore I'm adding this one.  And it has a gorgeous cover which helps!

Night Broken by Patricia Briggs - Will 2014 be the year that I catch up on some of my favorite urban fantasy series?  I sure hope so!  This is another series that I need to get to reading (I'm super behind) but how could I not want this newest book?  Another amazing cover!

Panic by Lauren Oliver - I have never read any of this author's books yet (although I plan to) but when I heard about this one it instantly went on my TBR list.  It just sounds so good and I want to read it badly!

Sparrow Hill Road by Seanan McGuire - Okay so I love, love, love this author's books under the name Mira Grant which means that this one automatically goes on my WANT list!  I will read basically anything that this author writes thanks to the Newsflesh trilogy.  Best zombie books ever!!!

Silver Mirrors by A.A. Aguirre - I loved the first book in this series Bronze Gods so this is yet another book that I will be impatiently waiting for.  And I love the cover!

I could keep going and going here!  Not listed (just because they don't have covers yet) are the new Sarah Waters book, The Paying Guests (eek!), Symbiont by Mira Grant (even though I still haven't read Parasite yet), and The Summer of Ghosts by P.D. Viner.  I'm going to stop now.  Seriously, because there is more and I think that I could just keep going.  2014 is hopefully going to be an amazing year in books and I could not be more excited!
