(Enjoying a beautiful summer day)
- All Day and a Night by Alafair Burke
- River Road by Jayne Ann Krentz
- Vengeance in Death by J.D. Robb (reread)
- Binding the Shadows by Jenn Bennett
- Dirty Magic by Jaye Wells
My favorite read of the month ending up being Dirty Magic by Jaye Wells. I knew that I was going to enjoy this one but kept putting it aside to read something else. My mistake because once I finally committed to reading it I was hooked! This was a GREAT read, and now I have to try and wait patiently for the second book to release. Blah! But still so good :)
My plans for June are no plans. Every time I make plans for the month I find that I don't follow through so this month I'm just going to relax with the goals. We will see what happens. I'm going to try to blog more, comment more, and read more. I'm not sure if any of that will happen but I am going to try!
How was your month of May? Any tips to getting more things done in the day? Ha! But seriously, how do you get it ALL done and then some. Please share!
P.S.- This all makes it seem like I didn't have an AMAZING month of May but I really did! It was actually one of the best months in a long time but boy did it wear me out :)
Sounds like you had a great month with family time! I can totally relate, there are just not enough hours in the day for everything. It's crazy.
ReplyDeleteI've really busy these past few weeks and this month of June is very hectic with my kids each graduating and all that comes with that.. prom, class trips, formals...etc. And crazy me decided it would be a fab idea to throw them a big double grad party in late June, so I've been busy party planning for that. And did I mention I'm still trying to housebreak Otis? My head is spinning.
Happy June, and happy reading :O) Dirty Magic does sound good.
Glad your family had a fantastic May! We were busy with high school graduation open houses. We are not awaiting the birth of our first grandchild at the end of June.
ReplyDeleteSam, May went by so quickly for me! I hope to have a more relaxing June. Dirty Magic sounds like a thrilling book!
ReplyDeleteP.S. The photo is adorable.
DeleteIt's funny because everyone I know has said something similar about the month of May, how it's flown by. For me it was excruciatingly long. So glad it's over. It sounds like your May was wonderful though, even if busy. I hope June will be just as amazing, although slower. :-) I know you could use some down time.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your stepdaughter on her graduation! My niece graduated from college a couple weeks ago. I still remember the first time I met her--she was about ten at the time. They grow so fast.
Dirty Magic sounds right up my alley. I'm adding it to my wish list.
Have a great month, Samantha!
Naida- It sounds like you have a crazy/hectic/fun schedule as well. I just can't seem to find the time to sit down let alone blog and comment like I usually do. I'm hoping to take advantage of my free time this weekend to play catch up a bit. I hope that you had a great month of May even with everything that you had going on. And congrats to both of your kids on their graduations. This year has really made me realize just how fast it all goes!
ReplyDeleteNise- A grandbaby? Awww....that is going to be fun for you :) It is fun watching my kids grow but I sure do miss when they were babies at times. They just seem to grow so fast :/ It sounds like June will be a really great month for you and your family!
Suko- Dirty Magic was really good! And I am glad that I am not the only one that had such a busy month. I always feel badly when I can't get around to comment on all of my friend's blogs. It is hard to find the time for everything, isn't it? Have a great month in June!
Wendy- I'm sorry to hear that May was such a long month for you. I've got to admit that I didn't even realize we were in June until two days in. I just lost track of time with all of the chaos. I hope that June is a much, much better month for you!
