Portrait In Death by J.D. Robb

Portrait In Death is another Eve/Roarke installment that had me engrossed from the beginning. This time Eve is chasing after a killer who has been murdering young people and then taking their picture afterwards. She has bigger problems to deal with though as Roarke is forced to deal with some family issues that he long thought were dead. This is another whirlwind of a murder case that had me engrossed from the beginning. What I really enjoyed about this book though was seeing a softer side of Roarke. I just love the way he and Eve work together as well as the way they depend on one another. It is so sweet!
All in all with this series, I'm loving it more and more the further I get into it. I really enjoy the way the author has made the characters grow and develop throughout this series. If I bought books these would be on my must buy list so I definitely recommend them.
My Rating: 4 out of 5

Thanks to all of you who helped me out with my questions regarding changing the background on Blogger. I found a cute one that isn't too distracting so I hope you will all enjoy. Now I'm going to have to work on my header and get a picture or something with my title. Another day for sure as I have a house to scrub down before Thanksgiving. Hope everyone has a great week :)

  3. you know, I did read one of her series books. The one where the lady is a radio show host at night, and theres a stalker after her. I forget the name of it. Do you know which one I mean? It was a JD Robb book.

  4. Naida- This sounds really familiar but not like any Robb book that I can remember reading. I might be wrong but are you sure that this is the author? I would swear that I've read a story like this but not sure...

  7. I found it! lol
Its Nora Roberts 'Night Tales' series. The one I read is called 'Night Shift'. It was good, but not good enough for me to keep up with the series.

  8. JKaye- Happy Thanksgiving to you as well. Hope you had a great day!

Naida- Okay so it was by the same author but not part of this series. That makes sense. I'll have to check it out and see if I like it. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
