Non-Fiction Five Challenge

I joined this challenge awhile ago but I don't think that I posted about it. Or made my list now that I am thinking about it. I made a list of possibilities to choose from for this challenge just because it seemed a bit more flexible. If you haven't joined this challenge yet then come on and have some fun!
Here is my list of possibilities:
  • Guns, Germs, and Steel by Jared Diamond

  • The Nine: Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court

  • Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah

  • I Never Promised You a Rose Garden by Joanne Greenberg

  • Mukiwa: A White Boy in Africa by Peter Godwin

  • Under The Banner of Heaven by Jon Krakauer

  • Don't Let's Go To the Dogs Tonight by Alexandra Fuller

  1. SURPRISE! I didn't even realize that you signed up. My e-mail notification didn't work for over a week and I was lost! I'm glad I saw your post through Google Reader. Without further ado . . .

Welcome to the Non-Fiction Five Challenge, Sam! The only one I read off your list is Long Way Gone and I thought it was devastatingly great. Hope you enjoy all your choices.

    Happy Reading!

  4. Long Way Gone is the only one on your list that I've read. It was harrowing, but worth the effort. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I think the Sunday Salon is going to be a lot of fun. It's a chance to find out about books that would not otherwise come my way.
