Good morning everyone! I think my title to this post says it all. There just isn't enough time to read sometimes, is there? That being said I am flying through Dead Girls Are Easy by Terri Garey. This is fun and easy read for me with some paranormal aspects thrown in the mix. I'm really liking it so far. The main character is very strong and sassy. I'm also reading Boone's Creek by Katherine Neff. This is unusal for me as I don't usually read two books at once. Now that I am working full time though I am reading Boone's Creek at lunch on my breaks. I like the break between the two books. Does anyone else break up their reading like this??
I've recently finished Betrayal In Death by J.D. Robb. I need to get my review up but I've been too busy. I'll catch up soon enough. Now enough talking. I've got a bunch of library books that I REALLY want to read but they are going to be due soon. I hate when that happens. Got to get to reading and blog hopping. Everyone have a good Sunday!

I am getting ready to read one of the "IN DEATH" series...it will be the first. :)
ReplyDeleteYay JKaye- I hope you enjoy it!!
ReplyDeleteWhat are you thinking of Boone's Creek so far? It wasn't my fav, but I hope you like it.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I am struggling with it. It has been a long 60 pages but I will keep on truckin with it.
ReplyDeleteI love reading during lunch! It's like two pleasures at once.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. I, also, hope that by keeping a reading blog I'll be able to avoid picking out books I've already read.
I love reading during lunch, but it is the same book I take to bed, too. I listen to a different book on my ipod or the same book on my ipod while I'm reading it. It's funny but the written isn't always the same as the spoken. And, sometimes the spoken repetes itself! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm doing the first of 5 contests for the autographed Mudbound books. Go here if you would like to play.
I hear you. I gave up on borrowing books (and I'm a librarian) because of the overdue fines. Cheaper to buy them- and then they're mine!
ReplyDeleteThere definitely isn't enough reading time some days! I'm usually a one-book-at-a-time reader too but occasionally I'll have more than one on the go and in that case they will usually be quite different so there is no risk of confusion.
ReplyDeleteIf you do read The Historian I'd like to hear what you think. It just wasn't quite what I expected. Maybe you have to be in the mood...
ReplyDeleteI always have two books on the go, often a huge one supplemented by short or YA books, or a fictiona and a non-fiction
ReplyDeleteTheres never enough time to read...lol
ReplyDeleteI do tend to read two books at a time. But if I'm really into one book, I cant break myself away and read another one in between.
I'm surprised my library hasnt taken my card away...my books are always overdue :P
enjoy your week.

Linda- I love visiting other reading blogs. Thanks for visiting here as well.
ReplyDeleteMaggie- I don't usually read 2 books. I'll have to see how this works out.
Marie- LOL! You say this while I have overdue books. Oh well...
Tanabata- I love to read at night but am usually too tired to read for long. And I usually am a one book girl as well.
ReplyDeleteMrs. B- I let you know when I get to the Historian. As they say...so many books, so little time.
Katrina- This is a 1st for me but I'm going to give it a try.
Naida- LOL! Looks like we are kindred souls with the overdue books. I HATE giving them back when I haven't read them yet. So they end up going back late.
