Spring Reading Thing

Spring is here and I am beyond ready! It is such a good feeling to have all of the windows thrown open and to let the kids play outside for hours. And I love the rain so a good thunderstorm is always welcome :) Vasilly posted about the Spring Reading Thing 2012 Challenge and I just couldn't resist.

I decided to come up with a list of books for this challenge based off of categories. My goal is to read two books from the following categories:
  • 2 review books off my shelves
  • 2 NetGalley books
  • 2 books from own shelves (not for review)
  • 1 book that I have bought for my Kindle
  • 1 new release
  • 2 library books
  • 2 random reads
  • 2 award nominees
I think I can do pretty well with this challenge considering I can change my reading choices at any time :) Here are the books that I'm thinking about for this challenge (and yes, I think the fun part is coming up with a list of possibilities)

Is that too many??? Probably but I can't take any off because they all look too good. I tried to throw some fantasy choices in the mix....can you guess why??? Yep, be on the lookout for a post on the Once Upon a Time Challenge. Woohoo for springtime and fun reading challenges!

  1. Ha! I do love a good list. :) I'll be interested in your thoughts on Delirium. I've been thinking about maybe listening to the series but can't decide.

Happy Spring indeed! Hope you and the kiddos are enjoying some nice weather.

  2. Delirium is awesome! Have a great Spring of reading.

  3. Enjoy this challenge! You have a lot of terrific books to read here!

  4. Great list! I definitely don't think you have too many books. This is such a great time of the year for reading challenges. Good luck.

  5. Happy reading! Those look like some great reads :)

  6. Awesome books there! Have fun :D

  7. That's a great list. Good luck!

  8. I really want to read Partials and I really enjoyed Deadline. I hope you do as well!

  9. Good luck with this challenge. I've read Wicked Becomes You and loved it. Well, I love Meredith Duran's writing. My favorite of hers, though, is Duke of Shadows.

I'm doing the Once Upon a Time one again this year, too! Looking forward to seeing what you choose for that one.

    Happy spring reading! :)

  10. Loving the books that you picked for this challenge...I know that I will be adding more to my must-read list because of this ! :D

  11. I loved the way you challenged yourself in different categories. Happy spring reading!

  12. Hope you get through all these books and love them all too :-) I read Delirium which I loved, and I hope to get to Partials at some point in the near future.

  13. My sister has a copy of Delirium. Maybe I'll borrow for Fall into Reading. Interesting list! Happy Spring Reading! :)

  14. Looks like you've got a great list! Deadline looks particularly interesting and I've heard good things about Partials. Enjoy and happy reading!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I appreciate each and every one of them :)
