Summer Fun (Or What Else I have Been Doing Besides Reading)

 

Spent lots of time at the river swimming and having fun.

 

Fishing....and more fishing!

 

Watching lots of ball games.

And finally fun at fairs or other various summer activities.

Tomorrow school starts and summer is officially over.  It feels like it went way too fast but there were lots of great memories made.  And when summer gives way it becomes my favorite time of the year!  Fall!

Bahahahaha! The second picture is priceless because it just shows my youngest two's personalities perfectly.  We had a quiet beginning to 2014 filled with movies, snacks, and The Walking Dead once the littles crashed out.  What a perfect way to start the new year!

Wordless Wednesday (First Days)

 

 

I'm a bit late sharing but it was a lot of firsts this year.  First day of junior high for my oldest and first day of kindergarten for my Nay Nay!  I'll admit that I cried but just a little (and with a smile on my face).  My babies are getting so big :)

Water Park Fun!

 The other weekend we took the kids to an indoor water park for my son's birthday.  The kids had a blast (as evidenced by the pictures) and swam their hearts out.  Literally, as my youngest fell asleep sitting up in the restaurant while we were eating dinner.  LOL!  It was classic and quite funny at the time. 

This weekend we are on our way to Ohio for a short trip to see my stepdaughter.  Lots of driving but it will be worth it!  Because of that though, I'm taking a short blogging break that will probably last throughout next week.  Baseball practice starts next week, the trip, and all other life stuff is really going to cut into my blogging time.  And since I'm working on cleaning out my Kindle this spring I will definitely be reading in my spare time.  I'm over halfway through Gone Girl and OH MY GOD!  Staci even created a lovely button for us to use so if you want to join in you should!  I'll see all in a week or so :)

Wordless Wednesday: Toothless Times

First one came out....now we are down two bottom teeth.  I'm pretty sure that it is the most adorable thing ever even if it feels like she shouldn't be losing teeth already.  But the best is when she sticks her tongue in the gap while concentrating.  Priceless!
