It's Monday! What Are You Reading? and Thankfully Reading
Hosted by Sheila at Book Journey who says:
"It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! D This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!"
It's been awhile since I shared what I've been reading on a Monday. My reading has slowed down drastically lately along with my blogging and commenting. With the every day "business" that comes from being a working mom to three and the holidays approaching, life has gotten quite crazy. I'm working to fit reading time in when I can but it has slowed down regardless. I'm starting to think I need a nice snowy or rainy day where all I do is read to get me back to reading :) Am I the only one that loves crappy weather???
I'm currently reading Lethal by Sandra Brown.
And I've recently finished reading Visions of Magic and The Name of the Star.
Up next is anybody's guess. Definitely something off of my own shelves or from my enormous library stack. I'm also planning on participating in the Thankfully Reading Weekend this year except I'm going to try and make it a reading filled week instead of just the weekend. It should be fun!
Happy Monday everyone!!

Crappy weather definitely allows for more reading.
ReplyDeleteHmmm--if I could get someone to watch Elle, should I use the time to see a movie with hubby or hole up and read. ;) Actually, last night I picked up Affinity (mostly because of your thoughts) and told Scott not to bug me for at least 30 minutes so I could read a few chapters. Ha!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday, Samantha!!
I want to read that Sandra Brown book! Enjoy your reads.
ReplyDeleteHere's MY MONDAY MEMES POST and
MY WEBSITE
I like crappy weather for reading as well, especially rainy days :)
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, between the kids, work and the holidays, there just isn't enough time for everything.
I enjoyed Lethal, hope you are as well. I am looking forward to reading this weekend too.
ReplyDeleteLethal looks really good! I do love crappy weather for an excuse to stay in with a book. When the roads are bad and it is cold outside I cant feel guilty about not doing something else :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for reminding us about this upcoming Thankfully Reading Weekend. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI love crappy weather...any excuse that lets me read!! Looks like good ones that you've been working on!
ReplyDeleteI am reading The Name of the Star at the moment. I am hoping to get back to it a bit later today. It is good so far! I hope you enjoy your reading week!
ReplyDeleteI have a book by Sandra Brown--it now beckons!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday to you! :)
Marce- That is one of the reasons why I love both rain and snow :)
ReplyDeleteTrish- I SOOO hope you enjoy Affinity as much as I did! It was my first by Waters but it definitely won't be my last. And I hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well!
Laurel-Rain- I hope you enjoy it when you get a chance. I instantly passed it on to my Mom so she could read it :)
Naida- There is never enough time and sometimes it can get overwhelming. But nothing makes me happier than being curled up with a good book!
Nise'- I enjoyed it although it wasn't my favorite book by Brown. It has been awhile since I've read anything by her so I should go back and read some of her newer releases.
Sheila- I love to use crappy weather as an excuse to read more! Actually, I like to use just about anything for an excuse. LOL!
Vasilly- I hope that you had fun if you participated as well!
Staci- Even if I've been reading slowly, I have been enjoying what I've been reading which is a plus!
Kailana- I hope you enjoy The Name of the Star. I really liked it myself and am looking forward to the 2nd book.
Suko- I hope that you get a chance to read and enjoy your book by her :)
