Library Loot - July Craziness

As always, library loot is a great way to share all of the books that you get from the library. And in my case it is a way to share my love/insanity for the library :) I have a tendency to go overboard....but I bet you can tell that just by looking at all of the covers. A few of the covers are a bit different than mine but that is besides the point. Oh, and I am DESPERATELY waiting for Kitty Goes to War by Carrie Vaughn to come in at the library for me. Patience is not my middle name. But here is what I pulled in from the library recently:

The Accidental Sorcerer by K.E. Mills
Picnic at Hanging Rock by Joan Lindsay (currently reading)
Pastworld by Ian Beck

A Morbid Taste for Bones by Ellis Peters
They Did It With Love by Kate Morgenroth
Hunted By The Others by Jess Haines

Another One Bites the Dust by Jennifer Rardin
A Great Deliverance by Elizabeth George
Into The Darkness by Barbara Michaels

Captivity by Deborah Noyes
Four and Twenty Blackbirds by Cherie Priest
Mystic River by Dennis Lehane

There you have it folks...my July insanity. Especially considering that I have every single book from my last library loot post still checked out. Seriously. Might have over done it a bit. Maybe. Much thanks to Lesley from A Life In Books who wrote the review that made me pick up Picnic at Hanging Rock. It is deliciously creepy (but not too scary) and I'll be sharing my thoughts on it soon just because I don't think that I can wait to post about it until I'm finished. If I can put it down that is....

  1. I love the insanity!! My library loot has dropped off because I have an insane amount of ARCs that I want to get read this summer. Enjoy your madness :)

  2. You've got some great reading there. I can't wait to hear what you think of Mystic River, which I've read, and Picnic at Hanging Rock, which I've always meant to. My public library has only the film for Hanging Rock so I'll have to look around for a copy. Enjoy your loot.

  5. So glad I'm not the only one who gets a bit crazy with the library books. I also love that I've never heard or read any of these books! It's amazing how people's tastes and choices differ.

  7. It's hard to keep from drooling over all those books! I recently bought a copy of Kitty Goes to War. I couldn't resist when I came across it in the store. Hopefully your copy will arrive at the library soon. In the meantime, enjoy all the other books you have on tap to read. :-)

(The word verification is "decide". I thought that was quite fitting given how many books you have to decide between to read next!)

  8. Literary Feline- LOL! That is quite fitting if I do say so myself :) And I eventually plan on buying myself a copy of Kitty Goes to War eventually but right now I'm on a book buying ban.
