Library Loot

Library Loot is a weekly event that asks us to share what we picked up from the library. Visit Eva and Marg to share what you got!

I love my library! Love, love, love. As usual, I put a bunch of books on hold at the library and they all ended up coming in at once. I'm not complaining though as looking at all of them and their beautiful covers makes me happy. LOL! I'm a nut. I cannot wait to read all of these...that's for sure. This week I picked up:

1. Hearts at Stake by Alyxandra Harvey
2. Soulless by Gail Carriger
3. Kitty's House of Horrors by Carrie Vaughn (I'm itching to pick this one up right now!)
4. All the Pretty Girls by J.T. Ellison
5. Escape by Carolyn Jessop (This is my nonfiction pick for this month...I didn't end up reading my choice for last month though)
6. Deadtown by Nancy Holzner
7. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling (rereading the series)
8. Atlas of Unknowns by Tania James

So there you have it. These should last me for the next couple of weeks especially since I still have a few books left over from previous library visits. I need to get to reading! Let me know if you've read any of these and what you thought.

  1. Love the cover of Atlas of Unknowns! I tend to put way too many books on hold, and then they all arrive at once too. :D

  3. What amazes me is that I haven't heard of most of these! And I'm a book blogger!

    Enjoy! :-)

  9. Soulless seems like a popular choice in the book blogsophere. I have seven books out this week. You can see them here.

  12. I liked Soulless -- it's not earthshattering, but it's a fun read. I fell off the Kitty wagon early on, but it's a genre I appreciate. Looks like some fun books.

  14. Eva- Putting books on hold is turning out to be an addiction for me. I find myself checking out way too many books that way but I can't seem to help myself.

Andi- I've gotta agree that it is a lovely cover...and it sounds really good too!

Suko- LOL! I've found most of these from book bloggers..it is so hard not to request every book that I come across that sounds good.

Diane- It sounds like a really interesting read. I believe I read a review by S.Krishna that made me want to read it now rather than later :)

Cat- My library is one of my favorite places!

Staci- I'm the same way..I probably go there at least once a week.

Melissa- I cannot wait to read Soulless. It looks and sounds like such a fun read.

Stephanie- I love me some Harry Potter too!

Pussreboots- I saw another library looter had this one checked out as well :)

Natalie- It does sound like a fun read. I hope that your library gets it soon.

Jill- My holds always seem to come in at once.

Beth- I'm a HUGE urban fantasy fan. And I'm glad to hear that you liked Soulless.

Vasilly- I love Harry Potter too!!! Cannot wait for the last movie to come out.
